Nadine is the managing optician of Precision Eye Wear holding a New York State ophthalmic dispensing
license with a contact lens certification for over 25 years.
With her extensive background and experience in the optical industry, Nadine, with access through PEC to the most technically advanced lenses available in the market, possesses the skills to analyze and interpret prescriptions and customize optical solutions best suited to her patient’s visual needs.
She values both the form and function of eyewear providing fashion consulting and technical services designed to optimize the comfort of the eyewear experience.
Nicole Skalkos
Licensed Optician
Nicole joined Precision Eye Wear as an apprentice more than 5 years ago and has since earned her New York State Optician’s license. With her keen sense of fashion and merchandising, she has transformed our optical department into one of the top and finest dispensaries on Long Island with our wide range of the most popular and fashion-forward frames.
Nicole is trained to discuss all spectacle prescriptions from single vision glasses to sports eye wear, occupational use, to the most advance progressive digital lenses available on the market today.
Laura Bamberger
Licensed Optician, ABO Certification
Laura joined the Precision Eye Wear team in 2011 with an interest in providing attentive can caring eye wear service.
Before joining Precision Eye Care, Laura trained for over 7 years at a multi-state provider of eye care products and services during which time she acquired her New York State Optician’s license and ABO certification. With her knowledge of the newest technologies and styles, she is eager to offer patients a personalized and satisfying experience.
Jorge Renta
Licensed Optician, Contact Lens Certified
Jorge brings over 12 years of experience to Precision Eye Wear. His background education in Health and Science laid the groundwork for his pursuit of a career in ophthalmic dispensing. During his residency at two Long Island optical practices, he obtained his college degree and passed the New York State Boards for is optician’s license. With his friendly and skillful approach and with his detail for prescription accuracy, he will fabricate high end eye wear and sunglasses for you at our in-site state of the art laboratory.
