It has long been documented that continuous exposure to loud noises can result in damage to the tiny hair cells that line the inner ear (the cochlea). Precision Audiology can fit clients with custom ear plugs designed to reduce the damaging effects of noise exposure.
In addition, we customize special ear plugs specifically designed for musicians and singers. Ear plugs and swim molds may also be purchased for patients with damage to their tympanic membranes or to be used post surgically with tympanostomy tubes.
