Richard G. Davis, MD, FAAO
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Davis is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has been practicing Ophthalmology on Long Island since 1991. He earned a B.A. from University of Pennsylvania in 1982 and an M.D. from Thomas Jefferson University in 1986. After a year of general surgery, he became the Director of the Emergency Room at Inter-Community Memorial Hospital in Newfane, New York where he was responsible for organizing the Emergency Room and treating emergency patients. He then completed a residency at SUNY at Buffalo where he distinguished himself and was appointed Chief Resident.
Adam H. Bloom, MD, FAAO
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Bloom is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. In 1994, he graduated from Harvard University summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Physics. He then earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded at graduation for being the top student in ophthalmology. After completing an internal medicine internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, Dr. Bloom pursued his ophthalmology residency at New York University and the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. He was then selected for a prestigious cornea and external disease fellowship, during which he gained intensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal disorders. He currently practices general ophthalmology, with a special focus on corneal problems including dry eye and allergy.
Barbara L. Reiss, OD, FAAO
Optometrist
Dr. Reiss is an Optometrist specializing in well-patient eye care and contact lenses. She earned the Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Houston in 1978. Dr. Reiss worked in the contact lens industry as a researcher and educator in the early years of her career. She practiced in Huntington and in eastern Long Island before joining Precision Eye Care when the practice opened in 2000.
Katelyn Stoehr, MS CCC-A
Audiologist
Katelyn Stoehr M.S. CCC-A is a licensed audiologist and registered hearing aid dispenser in New York State, working with both adults and children from diagnosing hearing loss to fitting amplification.
Katelyn received her BA in speech and hearing science and MS in Audiology from Adelphi University.
